Users can have roles that determine their name color across the site. Here are the current roles, from highest to lowest rank:

owner
(admin privileges)
A user's name is colored by their highest-ranked role.
new users *
Users who joined in the last week have a * next to their name. If you see this, it means the user is new to the community — be welcoming!
